ICRW Celebrates Life, Accomplishments of Senior Fellow, Sally Yudelman

Sally Yudelman, a distinguished women’s rights scholar, lifelong advocate for women’s economic advancement and senior ICRW fellow, passed away Oct. 24 after a protracted battle with brain cancer.

ICRW Leadership Council Member Wins FT/Goldman Sachs Book Award

ICRW Leadership Council member, Mohamed A. El-Erian, was awarded this year's Financial Times/Goldman Sachs Business Book Award. Proceeds from his winnings will be donated in equal parts to ICRW and Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Revised Stigma Toolkit Now Available

ICRW, the Academy for Educational Development and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance released a revised stigma reduction toolkit to help fight HIV- and AIDS-related stigma. 

The toolkit is used to facilitate discussion about the rights of positive persons and issues around gender, sexuality and morality.

Break the Stigma Barrier

Community organizations facilitate discussions about the rights of positive persons and issues around gender, sexuality and morality.HIV stigma and discrimination are barriers to prevention, treatment and care.  Yet little is done to reduce HIV stigma because of a misinformed view that it cannot be addressed through programs. The truth is we understand a great deal about the key causes of stigma, and local interventions around the globe are showing how to reduce it and how to measure progress over time.
